Band of Horses for MOJO Magazine

Here are some photos from my most recent MOJO Magazine shoot with Band Of Horses. I was only going to have about 30 minutes to shoot with the band and they wanted to meet at their hotel in midtown, so I knew I had my work cut out for me. I went a day early to scout out locations and, oddly enough, ran into one of the guys in the band on the street. Seeing that there was nothing suitable in the area, I decided to scout out some locations in Central Park, which is what we went with.
On the shoot day, I met up with the band at the hotel and we all walked up to the park together. I took advantage of that time as well, by shooting some casual walking street photos. I really enjoy working within time constraints like this. I feel it keeps everyone on their toes but also we are done before the band gets too antsy. 2 locations, 25 minutes.
